Boltz as a new member of its Board of Directors. Cliff brings a wealth of experience and a deep personal commitment to the Foundation’s mission of providing compassionate support to cancer patients throughout New Mexico.

Cliff’s journey with CFFNM began in 2019 when he witnessed firsthand the profound impact of the Foundation’s services while supporting his late wife, Donna, during her chemotherapy treatments. Inspired by the compassionate care and support provided by CFFNM volunteers at the infusion center, Cliff committed to giving back to the community that had supported him during a challenging time. A retired Colonel from the US Army, Cliff’s distinguished military career spanned diverse global locations, where he held leadership and staff roles, specializing in operations research and systems analysis. His expertise in leading diverse teams to develop solutions to complex, large-scale problems has been instrumental throughout his career, including his executive roles with the Municipality of Anchorage’s police department and as an independent contractor for law enforcement and security agencies.

Rooted in his military service and guided by his core values of honesty, kindness, and unwavering commitment to mission accomplishment, Cliff brings a robust blend of leadership and organizational acumen to the CFFNM board. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in General Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point, a Master of Science in Operations Research and Systems Analysis from George Washington University, and a Master of Science in Strategic Studies from the US Army War College.

Choosing Santa Fe as his home in 2017, Cliff has found solace in the natural beauty and community spirit of northern New Mexico. An avid outdoor enthusiast and photographer, he enjoys capturing moments during long-distance treks, camping adventures, and leisurely walks with his dog, Illy.

“We are honored to welcome Cliff F. Boltz to the Cancer Foundation for New Mexico board,” said Vince Baca, Executive Director of CFFNM. “Cliff’s dedication to our mission and extensive leadership experience will be invaluable as we continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of cancer patients and their families across New Mexico.”
