Leave a Legacy of Hope
For more than 20 years, neighbors have helped neighbors through the Cancer Foundation for New Mexico. Because of this generosity, thousands of cancer patients throughout Northern New Mexico have received support during some of life’s most difficult moments.
A legacy gift is a powerful way to ensure that this tradition of compassion continues for generations to come. By including the Foundation in your future plans, you help ensure that no one faces cancer alone.
Whether your gift is large or small, your legacy can provide hope, comfort, and practical assistance to cancer patients and their families for years to come.

How Your Legacy Makes a Difference
When making a legacy gift, you may choose how your generosity will support the Foundation.
Board Directed Fund
This flexible fund allows the Foundation to respond to the most pressing needs of cancer patients as they arise. It provides the ability to help where support is needed most.
Visionary Endowment Fund
The Visionary Endowment Fund helps secure the Foundation’s future. Gifts to the endowment are invested to provide ongoing support for the organization, helping ensure that cancer patients can count on our services for generations to come.
“Valerie and I have been highly involved with the Cancer Foundation for New Mexico for over a decade. I have served on the Board as an active Member, and as Chair for a number of years. Valerie is deeply committed to her work in the chemotherapy suite as a Volunteer.
We have chosen to provide legacy gifts primarily for local charities in our estate planning, as we have always been loyal to Santa Fe and New Mexico. With more than a thousand charities in Santa Fe, we have lots of choices. What distinguishes the Cancer Foundation for New Mexico from other worthwhile charities is that we actually ‘help save lives,’ and not every charity can point to that result.”
– Valerie and Bud Hamilton, Founders’ Society Members
