As part of our 20th Anniversary kickoff, the Cancer Foundation for New Mexico is excited to announce the debut of Healing with Heart at the 2023 Sweetheart Auction. The program pairs cancer survivors or current patients with artists in a collaboration intended to produce compelling visual messages of healing and hope.
 
Below is one of the collaborations that make up this special project.

Who We Are

The Cancer Foundation for New Mexico (CFFNM) is a local, independent non-profit that was formed in 2003. While we have strong relationships with health care providers, we are a separate, nonprofit entity whose funding goes directly to cancer patients and the support services that we provide:

  • Overnight Lodging
  • Grocery Cards
  • Support Groups
  • Volunteer Support During Treatment
  • Community Resource Information

David is a talented drummer, playing in two popular local bands. He also judges Guitar Center’s annual Drum Off. He was recently dignosed with stage IV lung cancer.

Joel is a carpenter from Pojoaque. In May of 2014, he was diagnosed with throat cancer which required seven weeks of chemotherapy and radiation.

Cancer Patients Need Your Help

Many cancer patients throughout Northern New Mexico rely on us for mileage reimbursement, overnight lodging, grocery cards, and support groups. Without access to these important services, many would endure extreme financial hardship, or even forgo treatment all together.

Help ensure that all cancer patients throughout northern New Mexico have access to lifesaving and life-prolonging treatment.

The 10/10 Visionary fund is a permanently restricted endowment with the goal of raising $10 million in 10 years. Revenue generated by this fund will help ensure we carry out our mission to help save lives for generations to come.
