The Cancer Foundation for New Mexico’s Annual Holiday Gift Basket Event – A Heartwarming Community Success! 
Dear friends and supporters,
We are delighted to share the fantastic news that our annual Holiday Gift Basket event was a heartwarming success this morning! The Cancer Foundation for New Mexico, in partnership with Los Ojos de la Familia, came together once again to profoundly impact the lives of cancer patients and families in our community.
Thanks to the unwavering dedication of our incredible volunteers, caregivers, doctors, nurses, friends, community members, board members, and the support of our staff members, we delivered 60 holiday gift baskets to patients in Santa Fe, Espanola, Las Vegas, Pueblos, and neighboring towns. Your collective efforts truly made a difference today! 
Each box, filled with over 70 lbs of food and supplies, brought smiles and warmth to cancer patients and their families. Fresh fruit baskets, hams, turkeys, treats, family presents, and children’s toys added that extra love that makes this event so unique.
This year’s event was dedicated to the memory of our dear friend and colleague, John ‘Obie’ Oberhausen, whose spirit continues to shine through this incredible project. We honored his legacy by spreading joy and hope.We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the drivers who generously gave their time and strength to make these deliveries possible. Your kindness and dedication are truly remarkable.
Reflecting on this morning’s deliveries, we are reminded of the power of community, compassion, and collaboration. Together, we can make a difference during the holidays and throughout the year.
