Pablo Prando serves as General Counsel for Los Alamos National Laboratory, which is managed and operated by Triad National Security, LLC. In this role, he leads the Laboratory’s Office of General Counsel, partnering with Laboratory leadership to provide practical, mission-focused legal guidance, support strategic decision-making, strengthen governance, and help advance LANL’s national security mission. He also serves as Board Secretary for Triad National Security.
Born and raised in Northern New Mexico, Pablo is honored to serve on the Board of the Cancer Foundation of New Mexico and to support its mission of helping Northern New Mexicans navigate their cancer journey with hope, dignity, and essential support. He believes deeply in the Foundation’s work and understands that cancer touches nearly every family in some way. His commitment is personal: both his sister and niece are cancer survivors, and his family’s experience has given him a profound appreciation for the emotional, practical, and community support that patients and families need during treatment and survivorship.
Pablo earned his Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University School of Law in Dallas, where he participated in an International Comparative Law Program at Oxford University. He is a member of the New Mexico State Bar and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with an emphasis in American politics, from Occidental College in Los Angeles.
Through his Board service, Pablo is proud to give back to the community that shaped him and to help ensure that cancer patients and their families across Northern New Mexico receive the care, compassion, and support they deserve.
