Lisbeth Moores

Lisbeth (Liz) Moores brings a diverse and accomplished background to the Cancer Foundation for New Mexico’s Board of Directors. Starting her career as a nurse in Boulder, Colorado, after graduating from the University of Colorado, Liz gained extensive experience in critical care and the emergency department.

Transitioning from healthcare, Liz moved into the home building industry, where she excelled in sales and marketing. Her leadership and expertise led her to become the Director of Sales and Marketing for several builders in the Denver metro area.

Liz has also been an active community leader. She served as Vice Chair on the Board of Directors for the University of Colorado’s Center of the American West, where she and her husband, Tony, underwrote the “Modern Indian Identity” program. Additionally, she joined the advisory board at CU’s College of Music, further showcasing her dedication to the arts and education.

In 2018, Liz and Tony moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico. As a working artist, Liz has exhibited her art throughout Colorado, Wyoming, and New Mexico. Her passion for art is matched by her love for equestrian activities, as she rides and shows her beloved paint horses across the West. Liz and Tony enjoy an active lifestyle that includes traveling, fly fishing, hiking, and reading.
