Originally from Chicago, Amanda brings a diverse background in nonprofit operations and small-business management to her role as Development Associate. She previously served as the Operations Manager for a high-volume church and owned a successful tablescape design business. Amanda finds deep fulfillment in working alongside volunteers and creatively navigating the unique challenges of the nonprofit world; she is honored to apply that expertise to supporting New Mexicans as they navigate the complexities of cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Amanda traded Chicago winters for New Mexico sunshine when she relocated in 2021. While she still cheers for the Cubs and Bears—and occasionally finds herself craving a deep-dish pizza—she has fully embraced life in the Southwest. Alongside her partner and their vibrant “zoo” of two Rottweilers and four cats, Amanda spends her free time cooking, hiking, and exploring the state’s incredible natural landscapes.
