The Cancer Foundation for New Mexico (CFFNM) is thrilled to announce the appointment of Suzanne Sakelaris to its Board of Directors. Suzanne brings a wealth of experience and a passion for design, creativity, and community service to her new role at the Foundation.

With over 30 years of experience in brand strategy and design, Suzanne has made significant contributions to the field, working in over 40 countries globally. Her deep understanding of cultural nuances and respect for diversity have allowed her to impact her projects indelibly. Suzanne’s career includes executive positions at three of the world’s most prominent advertising and public relations firms: Executive Vice President at Ogilvy Worldwide, European Managing Director at Weber Shandwick Worldwide, and Account Director at Ruder Finn Worldwide.

As an entrepreneur, Suzanne founded Artisan Minds and Artisan Communications, a brand strategy, design, and communications firm that reflects her innovative spirit and dedication to excellence. Her experience as a media spokesperson, writing articles about design and lifestyle, appearing on talk shows, and leading high-profile campaigns demonstrates her commitment to innovative communication strategies. This entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to excellence align perfectly with the Cancer Foundation for New Mexico’s mission.

Suzanne’s commitment to community service is evident through her past board membership at Warehouse 21 and her role on the marketing committee for The Santa Fe Community Foundation. Since moving to New Mexico, she has consulted with some of Santa Fe’s top creative showrooms, arts, and hospitality organizations in brand strategy, design, communications, and reputation management. Her clients have included The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, Inn of the Spa at Loretto, New Mexico Community Foundation, SWAIA—Santa Fe Indian Market, Shiprock, Ojo Santa Fe, Nambe, and Thornburg Mortgage. This commitment to community service and her extensive experience makes her a valuable addition to the Cancer Foundation for New Mexico.
