The Cancer Foundation for New Mexico Welcomes Stacey McMullen as it’s new Patient Services Coordinator

Santa Fe, New Mexico – August 7, 2024 – The Cancer Foundation for New Mexico

proud to announce the appointment of Stacey McMullen as its new Patient Services Coordinator. Stacey, a Licensed Social Worker, brings a wealth of experience in social services and is committed to supporting cancer patients and their families in northern New Mexico.

Stacey has lived in New Mexico for the past 20 years and originally hails from Indiana. She holds a BA in Sociology from Hanover College in Indiana and earned her Master’s in Social Work from New Mexico Highlands University. Her diverse background spans social services management, program development, early childhood music education, and artful collaboratives, making her uniquely qualified for her role at the Foundation.

“We are thrilled to have Stacey join our team,” said Vice Baca, Executive Director of the Cancer Foundation for New Mexico. “Her extensive background in social work and her deep dedication to patient care make her an invaluable asset to the Foundation and the cancer patients we serve.”

As Patient Services Coordinator, Stacey will assist cancer patients and their families in navigating treatment challenges by providing crucial support services, including travel, lodging, and treatment support. Stacey is honored to be of service to her community and looks forward to contributing to the Foundation’s mission of providing compassionate patient services and hope for every journey.

Stacey enjoys music, film, art, writing, and hiking outside of work. She especially values spending time with friends, family, and her dog, Mika.
