The Cancer Foundation for New Mexico Welcomes Brigid Brahe to Board of Directors
Santa Fe, New Mexico – July 9, 2025 – The Cancer Foundation for New Mexico is proud to announce the appointment of Brigid Brahe to its Board of Directors. A longtime advocate for community service, Brigid brings a unique blend of business leadership, nonprofit engagement, and personal dedication to supporting those affected by cancer.
Brigid is the owner of Santa Fe By Design, a local business serving the luxury building market. A native Californian, she moved to Santa Fe in 2016 following a successful career in the Silicon Valley technology sector. Since arriving, she has immersed herself in supporting underserved communities, serving on The Food Depot’s board of directors from 2017 to 2023 and volunteering weekly with Kitchen Angels.
Like so many others, Brigid has witnessed the impact of cancer on close family and friends. She recognizes the vital role the Cancer Foundation plays in northern New Mexico and is honored to support its mission of providing financial and emotional care for those navigating a cancer diagnosis.
“Brigid’s deep roots in community service and professional excellence make her an invaluable addition to our Board,” said Executive Director, Vice Baca. “Her compassion and commitment will strengthen our efforts to ensure no one faces cancer alone.”
Brigid holds a BA in Economics from Barnard College and an MBA from the University of Southern California.
The Cancer Foundation for New Mexico was established in 2003 as an independent, nonprofit organization. While maintaining strong partnerships with healthcare providers, the Foundation operates separately and directs its funding entirely to support cancer patients. Every dollar raised goes toward helping individuals in northern New Mexico access the care and resources they need during treatment.
