In coordination with the Cancer Foundation for New Mexico, Julie Ann Chambers (owner of Flawless Permanent Cosmetics & Medi Spa) will donate one permanent cosmetic procedure to a cancer patient undergoing treatment each month.
The “I am My Sister’s Keeper Award” was created by Julie Ann in honor of her sister Diane Chambers, who is a breast cancer survivor. Complications involved with Diane’s cancer treatment resulted in disfigurement and significant scarring, which had a profound affect on her sense of self and well being. Julie Ann was inspired to learn all she could about corrective permanent cosmetics and is now licensed to practice permanent cosmetic procedures in the state of New Mexico.
Beginning in September, monthly winners will be determined by a drawing at the end of each month. To be eligible for the drawings, patients must be undergoing active cancer treatment and must be receiving services through the Cancer Foundation for New Mexico. Patients are permitted to enter the drawings once per month, and may do so each month until they win.
Please contact the Cancer Foundation’s Patient Services Coordinator, Caroline Owen, for more information about monthly drawings – OR – visit Julie Ann Chambers’ website for more information about permanent cosmetics.
