Originally from Texas, Dr. Brent Walker is the Vice President and Chief Medical Officer of BSW HealthTexas Provider Network, where he leads initiatives to enhance patient care, provider engagement, and healthcare operations across the Dallas/Fort Worth area. With more than 30 years of clinical and leadership experience, Dr. Walker’s extensive career includes serving as a family medicine physician, healthcare executive, and board leader for multiple educational institutions.
Deeply committed to service, Dr. Walker has served on the boards of Dallas Academy and Lakehill Preparatory School. His passion for supporting others throughout their healthcare journey aligns closely with the Cancer Foundation for New Mexico’s mission to provide hope, dignity, and support for cancer patients and their families.
Dr. Walker earned his Doctor of Osteopathy from the University of North Texas Health Science Center and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Tarleton State University. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, mentoring new healthcare providers, and supporting community-driven initiatives.
