Patient Story: Gale’s Story of Courage and Community
At 73, Gale travels 168 miles from Raton to Santa Fe for cancer treatment. Despite a terminal diagnosis, he remains focused on living each day fully. With support from the Foundation, Gale receives travel, lodging, and meal assistance—eliminating impossible choices between everyday expenses and treatment.
Jon Batiste’s The Big Money Tour Returns
Back by popular demand, Jon Batiste will perform two concerts at the Santa Fe Opera this Labor Day weekend, benefitting the Foundation. This powerful partnership continues to uplift the community through music and mission.
A Vision of Hope: Launch of the Visionary Society Planned Giving Program
The Foundation introduces the Visionary Society, inviting supporters to make a lasting impact through planned giving. The initiative honors founding 10/10 Visionary Society members and launches at the 2025 Supper Club.
20th Anniversary Sweetheart Auction Sets Records
The 2024 Sweetheart Auction marked two decades of compassion and community. With record-breaking support, the event raised vital funds for services like travel, lodging, food, and emotional care.
Support Spotlight: Chair Yoga for Wellness
Cancer survivor and yoga instructor Catherine Lautenbach shares how gentle chair yoga eases treatment-related stress and builds community. Sessions are open to all in northern New Mexico.
Comfort Quilts: Wrapped in Care
Packages of Comfort and the Northern New Mexico Quilt Guild collaborate with the Foundation to distribute care packages and handmade quilts to patients, offering warmth, hope, and love.
The Healing Pen: Write to Heal Workshop
Led by Joanne Fay Brown, this online expressive writing group fosters healing, connection, and growth among cancer patients and survivors. Limited to eight participants, it offers a safe and powerful space for storytelling and reflection.
