Electra Lake is 20 miles north of Durango, CO, near both Glacier Golf Club and Purgatory Ski Area. The lake belongs to a private club and you will enjoy all the private club benefits. Several boats will be at your disposal given appropriate water conditions: a speed boat, a 1940 Texas maiden, a fishing boat, and 2 kayaks. Trout fishing is excellent (rainbow, browns, brookies, and cutthroat!). Great for a summer getaway or a ski vacation retreat.
