Thank You for Making the 8th Annual Supper Club a Huge Success!
Thank you to everyone that attended the 2022 Supper Club and made it such a fun event!
On September 7, 2022 CFFNM staff, board members and many of our dedicated donors joined us again for the Supper Club at The Compound to raise funds for the 10/10 Visionary Fund, our permanently restricted endowment.
The crowd gathered early in the evening at The Compound on their gorgeous patio between cocktails and some unforgettable appetizers. Attendees got to reconnect with friends they had not seen in more than a year and also met new acquaintances who were interested in supporting cancer patients.
The night was particularly special as we were able to honor the Corinne Collins for her years of commitment to the Foundation. Many of you know Corinne for her 13+ years leading the Foundation as our former Executive Director. Former Board Chair Bud Hamilton and his wife Valerie, a longtime dedicated Chemo Room volunteer, presented Corinne with the second ever Hamilton Visionary Award for her extraordinary dedication over the years supporting cancer patients in New Mexico.
Radiation Oncologist, Dr. Donald Shina, MD gave a moving speech about working with cancer patients and the real impact of your donations to CFFNM.
We also brought back Richard Lampert our beloved auctioneer from the Sweetheart Auction to join us this year at the Supper Club for the most exciting part of the night, a very successful paddle raiser. So far we have now raised $145,000 and counting! We are so grateful to each and every one of you that donated, attended the Supper Club and continued to support us over the past year. And a big thanks to CHRISTUS St Vincent for exclusively sponsoring this year’s Supper Club!
Please be sure to join our email list to receive notifications when tickets go on sale next year.

More Information
The 10/10 Visionary Fund:
During the past 18 years, the requests for Cancer Foundation for New Mexico’s life-critical services has grown steadily. As the only local organization to provide a high level of consistent support services to in-need cancer patients in northern New Mexico, we assisted with more than 28,841 patient visits in Santa Fe in the past 12 months. To date no patient who qualifies for our services has been turned away.
To plan for the future, in 2015 our leadership established the 10/10 Visionary Fund, so called because our goal is to raise $10 million in 10 years. The 10/10 Visionary Fund will build an endowment with earnings that will generate ongoing income to support the Cancer Foundation for New Mexico mission.
Each gift is a building block for the future. Contributions to this endowment will help save lives by ensuring that the good work of the Cancer Foundation for New Mexico will continue for as long as cancer exists. Click here for more info.
Chef Bio:
James Beard Foundation’s “Best Chef in the Southwest 2005,” Mark Kiffin — chef and owner of The Compound Restaurant — has worked, written, and taught in the restaurant industry for more than 25 years. A recognized leader in Southwestern cuisine, Kiffin creates a seasonal, Contemporary American Menu combining the diverse culinary influences of the Mediterranean with those of the New World. Bon Appétit Magazine calls The Compound “One of the region’s best restaurants, showcasing Mark’s sophisticated brand of southwestern cuisine with Mediterranean accents.” Judith Hill of The Santa Fe New Mexican called her experience “Zen like” and refers to Kiffin’s passion and flavors as a personal affair with food.
