Support Group Schedule

Do you have questions about your cancer diagnosis or treatment? Find support and learn from others with similar concerns. Support groups are held both in Santa Fe and Los Alamos, are open to all, and are offered at no cost to attendees. See below for more details.


Santa Fe 

How We Heal

This group is open to all people who have a cancer diagnosis, and includes tips on how to navigate and be supported by the system. Meets the first Wednesday of every month from 1:00-2:30 pm at the Cancer Foundation for New Mexico. Facilitated by Janet Smith, RN.  How We Heal Flyer.

Friends and Family of Cancer Patients

This group addresses the unique needs of the caregiver and those closest to the cancer patient.
Meets every Tuesday from 11 am – 12:15 pm at the Cancer Foundation for New Mexico. Facilitated by Ronni Levine, LMFT.

Living with Cancer

This group is for patients dealing with the challenges of recurrent or metastatic cancer. Meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month from 1:00 – 2:30 at the Cancer Foundation for New Mexico. Facilitated by Janet Smith, RN.


Los Alamos 

Friends and Family of Cancer Patients

This group addresses the unique needs of the caregiver and those closest to the cancer patient.
Meets on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month from 11:00 – 12:15 pm at the Betty Ehart Senior Center Conference Room in Los Alamos. Facilitated by Lori Padilla, Counselor, MA, LMHC.
