Gustave Baumann, Print and Original Woodblock – “Winsor Canyon”

Gustave Bauman (1881 – 1971) was an American printmaker and painter, and one of the leading figures of the color woodcut revival in America. His works have been shown at the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art, the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC, and the New Mexico Museum of Art. Framed, the woodblock print measures 20″H X 15″W. The Basswood block unframed measures 11″H X 9 1/2″W. Theses 2 donations to be sold as one lot.
