Corinne Collins has been the Executive Director of the Cancer Foundation for New Mexico since 2007.  Corinne 2017 webDuring her tenure, the organization has grown exponentially, currently supporting more than 16,000 patient visits/year.  Despite the increased demand for services, under Corinne’s leadership, no patient who qualifies for Foundation services has ever been turned away.

Similarly, the Sweetheart Auction, which started with a few tables in the Cancer Center, has grown to one of Santa Fe’s premiere winter events, with a fabulous Live and Silent Auction, attended by more than 800 guests.

Corinne’s background as an oncology nurse, plus her Master’s degree and national and international experience with numerous healthcare leadership positions, make her uniquely qualified to lead an organization such as the Cancer Foundation.

In her spare time, Corinne enjoys scuba diving and Hawaii — when she can get there!

 

Bob Ansheles

Bob Ansheles is an accomplished business, development and award-winning marketing executive. Prior to a move to Santa Fe in 2014, he had 20 years of experience in the core of the Madison, Wisconsin business community and non-profit organizations.  As Development Director at the Cancer Foundation For New Mexico Bob will use his skills in revenue generation, relationship building, event planning, volunteer recruitment, and strategic marketing to increase the funding and visibility of the CFFNM mission.

Bob was raised in Washington D. C. and has lived in Portland, Maine and Burlington, Vermont as well as Madison. He enjoys being in ballparks, especially Fenway, running road races and time with his family.

 

Caroline Owen
Patient Services and Volunteer Coordinator

After receiving a Masters in Psychology at Ohio State University, Caroline worked with intellectually disabled adults in a large state institution. In addition to conducting psychological assessments, her focus was on client rights and assisting clients to return to community living. When her family moved to New Zealand, she changed fields and earned a Masters in Social Work at the University of Canterbury. She became a medical social worker, as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support patients and families through the crisis resulting in or caused by hospitalization, always ensuring that the patient’s concerns were addressed.

Caroline began her work at the Cancer Foundation for New Mexico as a volunteer and she now coordinates Patient Services as well as the volunteer program.

 

Kylie Strijek

Kylie Strijek has recently returned to Santa Fe after spending the last ten years living on the East Coast. Prior to joining the Cancer Foundation for New Mexico team, Kylie worked in various areas of the golf industry. She recently transitioned into the nonprofit sector, working in youth development. She received her Marketing degree from Siena College in May 2014, primarily focusing on market research and the use of social media in advertising. While in college, she was a four-year starter for the Siena Women’s Golf Team with an extensive playing resume. She looks to bring her Marketing background and passion for non-profit work to CFFNM.

Barbara is a life-long resident of Santa Fe.  She has over a decade of experience working as an Administrative Assistant with non-profits.  She loves spending time with her family and also enjoys cooking, reading and hiking the beautiful outdoors.
